HOW CAN WE HELP YOU:

  • Skilled & Proactive Fort Pierce Criminal Attorney

Over the years in my career as a Fort Pierce Criminal Attorney, I have assisted many individuals get charges lessened or thrown out. Some criminal defense attorneys use the “wait around” method. Being suspected or detained for a crime doesn’t always mean you will be sentenced in court. They put things off until the initial court appearance, or until after they obtain the reports, prior to examining your case.

The distinction with our firm is that we don’t think that there’s time to wait around. The most important time for defense is first couple days after you have been detained, or even before official charges are filed. By starting on your case straightaway, many times we can find promising defense substantiation and witnesses, as well as get a jump on beating your charges.

  • DUI Defense

If you are stopped randomly by a police officer and there is no “probable cause” for this, your rights have been violated. Probable cause means that, based on facts or circumstances, there was reasonable belief a crime had been committed. This is an important fact when someone is charged with DUI. There are many points in the DUI process where mistakes can be made and your rights may have been violated. If so, there can be hope for an acquittal or dismissal of charges.

  • Violent Crimes

Violent crimes include crimes committed with the use of violent force such as murder, rape and assault with a deadly weapon. If you are convicted of a violent crime, you will be facing extremely harsh penalties. It is imperative that you take action and get a skilled defender without delay.

  • Theft, Burglary & Robbery

Theft crimes involve taking money or property that belongs to another without the owner’s knowledge or agreement. Depending on the value of the property taken, the crime can be a misdemeanor or a felony. The penalties given for a conviction of a theft crime will depend on the severity of the crime and the person’s prior record. I represent those facing charges of shoplifting, petty theft, burglary, embezzlement, grand theft, auto theft and identity theft.

  • Marijuana Possession & Felony Drug Crimes

When a person has been found guilty of selling, possessing or distributing illegal drugs he will be convicted of a drug crime. Drugs such as cocaine, LSD and marijuana are what most people think of as illegal drugs. Today, more and more we see people convicted of selling, possessing or distributing illegally obtained prescription drugs.

  • Probation Violations

Probation is granted to someone in lieu of going to prison or, at the end of a prison sentence. It is supervised closely by a probation officer, and there are always rules and restrictions as part of the terms of the probation. When an individual violates a rule or restriction of his probation, he can be taken immediately back to into custody. Some probation violations can result in an extended prison sentence.

  • White Collar Crimes

White collar crimes are non-violent criminal offenses that normally involve some type of fraud and illegal financial transactions. Some examples are insurance fraud, tax evasion, embezzlement, forgery and blackmail. There are others, and many of these crimes are charged in federal court.
